I am headed on a true adventure - a trip to Alaska! Although this trip is primarily for work - it's an Adventure Travel Conference, I still get the chance to explore Anchorage, a glacier and then I'm off to Seattle for 48 hours. I'll be gone September 18-25.
I am looking forward to experiencing such a unique and special place, and most of all, I am looking forward to the helicopter tour with a glacier landing! I am obsessed with taking different means of transportation, and I've never done a helicopter! There were a bunch of options for us to choose from, but I chose something I would have never done on my own. Granted, I am kind of sad not to experience the fjords but I am hoping that I can come back and do an Alaskan cruise. One can dream (and save their pennies).
This will be my first real trip with my new camera so I am excited to try it out and to see what kind of photos I can get. My last big trip was to India and I really regretted only having my iPhone. It just wasn't good enough to document the moments.
